I desire to execute a few fun things using the fam! I needed showing you our transportation centers that people done some the other day and finishing them up this week. I couldn’t enter most of my themes because of this season therefore i just squeezed transportation into my morning baskets. You’ll find them HERE. My literacy and math baskets have community helpers centers that I am hoping to blog about later inside the week. And you may find those HERE. That one we’ve done before with another theme. I still have several kiddos which have trouble considering these double digit numbers and ordering them by 5’s. So, we have been still practicing. My kids are receiving So excellent at addition they really do not need me in any way. Some are simply just recognizing the reality and knowing them without needing manipulatives. I shared this within my presentation a couple weeks ago since it is among my student’s favorites. I made these little roads and color coded them with a dot. They utilize the little car manipulative to operate a vehicle and browse the word. How fun is the fact?

I could see much growth at this time and I’m lovin’ it!

Here, that they had to read all the words and choose the rhyming words. I started doing some rhyming games such as this last school year so that they were needing to learning much more words and listen for rhymes. That virtually sums up our transportation centers. I so miss him when he’s not here to greatly help, but enough about this! So, we have been focusing on our St. Patrick’s Day centers this week. I could see much growth at this time and I’m lovin’ it! I really like how independent they’re employed in their little centers and looking increasingly more like first graders each day.

Speaking of, I’m having some first grade teachers from our district come visit my classroom this Thursday to view guided reading. Eeek! But, I reach go watch them on Monday! Many of these centers are available in my St. Patrick’s Day Centers Pack Here. My students are doing effectively with ordering words to create complete sentences. We shall have one of these brilliant centers for almost the rest of the entire year. That one is super fun! I have no idea what it really is about races, but kids are over them! They spin the boy/girl spinner & the ending sound center. Irish child? I also included a teenager number race in the machine. Subtraction using dice and manipulatives. I really do this each year. I really like how bright and colorful they always look, plus it’s great to hold through the ceiling and leave up for some time!

We have been knee deep in Dr. Silly, silly centers, and spring activities! Plus, our annual Jack Hartmann concert was yesterday. Whew! It has been that sort of week. I’ve never blogged about our silly centers before, so I wished to show many of them because they’re all sorts of fun! Who doesn’t love silly? You’ll find all the centers shown in my own Silly Center Pack Here. And, despite the fact that these were designed for my classroom to utilize during Read Across America week, these will be ideal for anytime! They’re just fun with plenty of learning! I enjoy hang “stuff” from my ceiling that goes alongside our centers. Math & Literacy built-into one center! Were the quantity sequences in the right order? Well, that they had to record within the yes/no boxes to i want to know. At this time in the entire year, they need to know their “stuff” or figure it out through the use of resources inside our room.
